Enter Your Results

1. Create new Ongoing Event

It does not matter whether it is training round or ongoing Championship. Enter at least the name of the Event which will serve you later on for finding your data.

Filling up other details Event's location, Event's date or Bow Category is not mandatory but mind that it might help you later.

2. Choose Scoring

Select number of targets you're going to shoot and starting target in case it differs from the default setting. Or leave it as it is. You're still able to add as many targets as You need later during shooting.

Tap on Scoring strategy to select most appropriate one for You. In case You're going to shoot different targets there's possibility to change the Scoring strategy target by target during the Event.

3. Enter Data

Hit Save button to save entered data for later use or press Save&Start button to start entering the data.

Analyze Your Data

Statistics

Are You improving at archery? Is Your form stable? What is the trend of Your results? Should Your technique be changed?

Do the evaluation based on DATA not feelings!

At Statistics screen You can find basic indicators based on Your past results. See average scores, best scores, trend, top scores ... and compare them to Your GOAL.

Event Details

How did it go at Your last event? Or any other past one? Navigate to the Event List. Find the event in the list or just search the specific one.

You are able to dig through all entered data. See detailed statistics of Your hits, get overview of Averages, see the result for every single target.

Are you missing any information? Was there not enough time to enter it during the event? Just edit the event detail. Edit name of the Event, location, add notes, change the date or enter the target names. Just update it.

Did you enter wrong target result? Now problem - just Start > the event once more and fix it afterwards!

Tailor the app for You

Settings -> User

Enter your Name and Surname or just Nickname. It is not used anywhere. You may enter your License number if you have one.

Preferred Settings

Much more important is selecting you preferred bow type - You won't need to select it while creating new Ongoing Event. Later on you'll have possibility to filter your results via it.

Tap on Preferred Target Scoring option to select one which You use most often. This can be still changed later on.

If you already know what is your Goal metric You want to reach, enter the number to Average Score Goal. You'll see this value at graph at Statistics screen.

Data

Synchronization accross all devices

First and the most important: All data is yours. We do not have access to them at all.

All data you enter into ArcherySpot app is synced with all your devices. If you enter data during the shooting on you mobile device, when you run ArcherySpot app on the iPad, it will be synchronized there in couple of minutes.

When you prepare (e.g.) New Event on your iPad and open up the ArcherySpot app you your mobile, it will appear there automatically. No need to do anything on your side.

Settings -> Backup/Restore

Even all sync is being done automatically we have prepared possibility to Backup and Restore your data manually as well.

Go to the Settings menu and tap Backup/Restore item. After that you will have possibility to either backup or restore your saved data. While doing the backup you will be prompted to select where do you want to store your data - iCloud Drive or any other online repository is the very best choice as you will be able to access it from anywhere. The file is named 'backup-year_month_day-hour-minute-second' but you can change it to any other name which suits you best.
